The School is well –equipped and provides various facilities. In addition to the regular classrooms, MHS has specially equipped rooms for the teaching and learning of subjects like Art and Craft, Planetarium, Computer Centre,Laboratories, Junior and Senior Libraries, Sports Ground, and Multipurpose Hall. External resources where required are used to supplement in-house facilities.

Planetarium Planetarium : MHS is probably the only school with its own planetarium. Students are exposed to the wonders of the sky and universe through a variety of shows.
Computer Laboratory Computer Laboratory : There are two Computer Laboratories in the school. They are exclusive and fitted with computers and accessories in tune with the latest technologies.
Laboratory

Laboratory : The school houses 5 laboratories namely for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Home Science. All the laboratories are well-equipped helping students to complete their experiments without any difficulty.
Library Library : The school has an excellent library - well stocked and with a wide range of titles. It is continuously updated keeping the benefit of the students in mind.
Sports Ground Sports Ground: Although the school is located in the heart of the city it has spacious grounds, a playing field and basketball courts,including a hard court.
Multipurpose Hall

Multipurpose Hall: – ‘The Shed’: This serves as an informal auditorium (popularly known as the "shed").It now has a State of the Art. sound-proofing system, a mobile stage, special lighting arrangements and a central air-conditioning system. The shed is the centre of a number of varied activities, such as

a) Morning Assembly
b) P.T. Classes
c) Throwball and Badminton Matches
d) Parent-Teacher Meetings
e) Guide Meetings
f)  Programmes on Independence/Republic Day/Teachers' Day etc.
g) Debates, Quizzes etc.
h) Exams
Gymnasium Gymnasium : It is centrally air-conditioned and equipped with the latest exercising and fitness machines.
Audio-visual Room Audio-visual Room : There are two audio-visual rooms, one on the ground floor and another one on the fifth floor fitted with computers, over-head projectors and a Smart Board.
Canteen Canteen: It provides a wide range of healthy and wholesome food at reasonable rates.Fruit juices and lassis are also on the menu.
Conference Room Conference Room : it is located on the ground floor.
German Language Room Goethe Zimmer - German Language Room : it is located on the top floor.
